Yes — additional practical support can sometimes be arranged through a video call or even in-person, depending on your location and tutor availability.
We understand that recording your practical assessments can be challenging, especially if you’re unsure about what’s expected or need extra guidance with technique, setup, or assessment requirements. That’s why we offer flexible support options to help you feel confident before submitting.
Support options may include:

Video call support: A tutor can meet with you via video call to talk through your setup, demonstrate what’s required, and answer any questions.

In-person assessment (where possible): If you’re within travelling distance of one of our tutors, we may be able to arrange an in-person assessment session. This would allow you to be assessed live rather than by uploading a video.
- In-person assessments are charged at £100, you can pay this once you request the service.
These options are handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on tutor availability and your location. Please note that any travel costs would need to be covered by you.
