# Is attendance at practical Pilates workshops compulsory?

## Yes — attendance at all Pilates practical workshops is essential.

For Pilates qualifications, each practical workshop is a key part of your learning journey and assessment. The workshops are designed to **build progressively**, with each session developing the knowledge, technique, and teaching skills introduced in the previous one.

Missing a workshop will impact your progress and mean you **won’t meet the full course requirements**. Consistent attendance ensures you:

- Develop your **movement technique and teaching confidence** step by step.
- Receive **hands-on guidance and feedback** from experienced tutors.
- Stay aligned with your cohort’s learning progression and assessment schedule.

Attending every workshop will help you feel **confident, prepared, and fully supported** throughout your Pilates instructor training — and is essential for successfully completing your qualification.

💡 **Tip:** If you have an unavoidable conflict or emergency, [file a support ticket here](https://portal.create.fit/support-tickets?hsLang=en-gb) as soon as possible to discuss your options for catching up or attending an alternative session.
